Improvisation

Malin is a keen improviser and after studying folk improvisation at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki they made this an integral part of their practice.

Malin has been involved in several improvisation projects including Jason Singh’s plant music quartet which performed at Dandelion Festival in Glasgow 2022.

Malin has learnt from improvisers Anto Pett, Jouko Kyhälä, Maria Donohue, Henry Macpherson and Timo Alakotila.
